East Leake Leisure Centre (the owner of Energise App) ("we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our Progressive Web App (PWA).

  • Account Information: When you sign in, we use Firebase Authentication to manage your account. This may include your email address and authentication credentials.

  • Profile & Membership Data: We store your membership code and related profile data in Google Cloud Firestore to link your account to your membership status.

  • Local Storage: We use local device storage (such as browser local storage and SharedPreferences) to cache your membership details locally for faster loading and offline capabilities.

2. How We Use Your Information We use the collected data strictly to:

  • Authenticate your identity and maintain your session.

  • Display your correct membership information within the app.

  • Improve app performance and loading speeds via local caching.

3. Third-Party Services We use Google Firebase as our backend infrastructure provider. Firebase handles authentication, database storage, and hosting. Google’s processing of your data is governed by their own privacy policies. We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties.

4. Data Security We rely on Firebase’s security architecture and HTTPS encryption to protect your data both in transit and at rest.

By accessing or using Energise App, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

1. Use of the App You agree to use the PWA only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of others or restrict their use of the app.

2. Membership Codes & Accounts

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

  • Membership codes linked to your account must be accurate and valid.

  • Attempting to bypass security rules, hijack other users' membership codes, or manipulate the database is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate account termination.

3. Intellectual Property All design, text, graphics, and code underlying Energise App are the property of East Leake Leisure Centre and protected by copyright laws.

4. Limitation of Liability The app is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability and are not liable for any data loss or connectivity issues arising from browser caching or third-party cloud outages (such as Firebase).

5. Changes to Terms We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the app constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.


Cookie & Local Storage Notice

Energise App uses local storage technologies (including browser local storage and device caching mechanisms) to operate effectively.

  • Essential Storage: We store data locally on your device (such as your session tokens and cached membership details) so you don't have to log in repeatedly and the app loads quickly.

  • No Tracking Cookies: We do not use intrusive third-party advertising tracking cookies.
